GLVAR REALTORS VOLUNTEER IN CLASSROOMS

November 12, 2018 | By Robin Smith

The Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors (GLVAR) has an annual community service event named “Realtors in the Classroom”.  This year over 60 GLVAR members went to two schools in the area to work along with teachers to help students learn about life skills.

A board member of GLVAR said the experience is very rewarding and helps students get inspired, empowered and inspired in preparing for success in school and in life.  “Realtors in the Classroom” is a joint venture with Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada.

This year the GLVAR Realtors went to Steele Elementary School and Lunt Elementary School and worked with teachers and students on personal life experiences and skills needed in the real world.

GLVAR was founded in 1947 and is the largest professional organization in Southern Nevada with over 14,000 local members.  Each GLVAR member receives the highest level of professional training and must uphold a strict code of ethics.  I am proud to be a GLVAR member.
